Holiday in Tasmania 2006

It's our big one for the year and was truly unforgettable!

What a wonderful vacation!
Hobart is the state capital and most populous city of the Australian island state of Tasmania. It is Australia's second oldest and eleventh largest city. Visitors, like moi!, come to this city -- home of the Cadbury Chocolate Factory -- not only to explore its historic inner suburbs as well as visit the popular weekly craft market in Salamanca Place, but to also use the city as a base from which to explore the rest of Tasmania.

Indeed it's a beautiful place and so I've got many beautiful memories captured on cam that I'd like to share with you all. Hope you enjoy the sights as much as we did!

The renowned Port Arthur Ghost Tour at night was most definitely an exciting highlight. How often can you experience such a thing? Although we did not really get to see an actual ghost or anything but the stories and the whole atmosphere was unforgettable. Have to say, the guide -- cool Elliott -- made the experience quite memorable. He was so entertaining, so animated and so so so scary funny!

Close second is the Eagle Hang Gliding Experience! Exhilarating, exciting and breathtaking!
